Veterans and former service members are at a greater risk of homelessness than the general population. Combat exposure and PTSD are risk factors that contribute to housing instability.
As the cost of living and inflation increase, essential expenses such as rent, utilities, and groceries become more expensive. This causes a strain on the fixed or limited incomes that many veterans rely on, making housing stability and sustainability difficult.
By sponsoring the Service Strong Veterans Fair, you will help bring much-needed resources to our local veterans by uniting a variety of agencies, organizations, and businesses
This event will serve as a platform for collaboration between organizations, allowing veterans to access a pool of resources and supports that are designed to address the unique needs of this veteran community.
By coming together, sponsors and organizations can offer a wide range of services, such as job placement assistance, mental health and housing resources, creating a comprehensive support network to better meet the needs of this vulnerable population.
